Kelly Osbourne found herself in the hot seat Tuesday morning, when she guest co-hosted ABC's "The View."
The other hosts of "The View," Whoopi Goldberg, Michelle Collins, Rosie Perez and Raven-Symoné were talking about Donald Trump's controversial comment about Latinos and his status in recent polls.
Rosie Perez, of Puerto Rican descent, commented, "There are a lot of Latinos here in this country that do agree that the immigration problem is a problem and it does need to be addressed and it does need fixed. But, making those comments, those racist comments, do not help."
As per CNN, Kelly Osbourne then butted in, perhaps with good intentions, and stated: "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"
Her comment caught her co-hosts off-guard and you can see them in the video reacting in disapproval. As soon as it dawned on the purple-haired host that her co-anchors were not in favor of her remark, she began reversing her comments.
"In the sense that ... you know what I mean? But I'm saying that in L.A., they always ... " Osbourne said, before being cut-short in mid sentence by Rosie Perez.
Perez answered her, "Latinos are not the only people to do that."
"No, I didn't mean it like that, come on," said Ozzy Osbourne's daughter.
"I would never mean it like that! I'm not part of this argument."
In the aftermath of the incident on live TV, People reported that Perez took to Twitter and tweeted: "My apologies @Kelly Osbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You're heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you."
Mom Sharon also shared her thoughts about her daughter's gaffe and wrote: "I want to thank the ladies @TheView for being so gracious to @KellyOsbourne today."
As for Kelly Osbourne, she apologized to the public and aired her side for her epic fail. Yahoo! revealed she wrote on her Facebook account: "I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted[ly] f—ked up today. I don't want to bulls—t anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn't finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words."
"I should have known better as I was on 'The View' and it was live. I've learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole," she added.
"By the way, I clean my own f—king toilets," she finally concluded.
Well, it looked like Kelly Osbourne had learned a very valuable lesson of thinking first before blurting out words.
