Tom Brady Appeal SHOCKER: Patriots QB Denies Wrongdoing In Deflategate Controversy

Tom Brady is speaking out under oath of his participation in the Deflategate controversy. According to the 38-year-old New England Patriots quarterback, he was not at all involved in any wrongdoing concerning the deflation of footballs in the NFL games.

A 457-page transcript on Tom Brady's appeal hearing was released on Tuesday, and ESPN has learned that the quarterback apparently maintained his innocence amid the Deflategate scandal.

When NFL Commissioner Roger Gooddell questioned Brady if he asked New England Patriots staff and personnel to alter the footballs prior a game, the embattled footballer said no.

"During your whole career now, I want to be very clear about this, I am asking during your whole career, have you ever asked anyone from the Patriots to alter the footballs in any way after you've approved them?" the commissioner's question read, as per the transcript.

Goddell followed it up with the question: "Okay. Now, have you ever specifically, so again, very specific question, have you ever told anyone on the Patriots after you've given to them that they should change the inflation level of the footballs after you approved them or do anything about the inflation level after you approved them?"

Gisele Bündchen's husband once again responded no, according to Sports Illustrated.

The commissioner then went on to ask a situational question that was aimed at gaging Brady's response when he knows that deflated footballs are being used in a game.

"Now, what would be your reaction if Mr. Jastremski or anyone else in the Patriots was doing something to the footballs after you've approved it? How would you feel about that?" Goddell asked.

Brady answered, "I would disapprove of that."

Tom Brady also maintained during the appeal hearing that he was not aware of the inflation rules before his team's game against the New York Jets on Oct. 16, 2014.

Many other things were covered during Brady's appeal hearing, one of which was his disappearing phone which is now seen as a proof that the NFL player is evasive, according to FoxSports.
