A cosplayer in Spider-Man costume was in the center of a video gone viral when he was caught fighting with a heckler at Times Square.
The video uploaded by Geoff Golberg on his Twitter account showed Spidey giving the man a pounding outside an outlet of Toys 'R Us near a street corner in Manhattan.
Golberg captioned the clip: "Spider-Man saves the day in Times Square," as per Daily Mail.
Within the melee that happened bystanders can be heard screaming in the video, "Yeah, that's what I'm talking about," coming from a man who was witnessing the event. You can also see in the video that people around were just watching the unfolding of events and were even busy flashing out their phones and documenting the brawl.
According to New York Post, the unidentified Spider-Man took a swing at his annoying nemesis and even held him in a headlock amid the cheers of the onlookers.
Golberg who caught Spiderman on video said: "There was a guy antagonizing a number of other street performers."
Another Spidey who also made the round in busy Times Square said the heckler hassled the costumed performers and even shouted racial remarks at them.
"He said a lot of racist s—t," said the Spider-Man known as Josh.
"He said, 'You Muslims go back to your country — you're gonna blow up Times Square.' He's been doing this on and off for almost a year," Josh continued.
As per, Times, the 30-second viral video that Golberg posted failed to catch the start and outcome of the altercation.
This wasn't the first incident that Times Square has been the center of a battleground.
A panhandling Spider-Man was busted in July 2014 after he purportedly hit a cop who prevented him from hitting up sightseers for cash.
Well, in a place as busy as Times Square and with a lot of diverse people roaming its streets, this probably won't be the last time that tourists will see Spider-Man caught in another battle.
