"Batman V Superman" actor Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may appear to be putting on a show for the public when they were spotted sporting their wedding bands in Atlanta on Saturday. However, they may have not done it to get more media attention, but to reassure their kids that mom and dad are doing fine despite their confirmed split.
Us Weekly has learned that the "Daredevil" costars reunited and spent some quality time with their children, Violet, 9; Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, in Atlanta, Ga.
The entire family reportedly went to the theaters to watch Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures' "Inside Out" and heading to the mall to do some shoe shopping.
What's very remarkable about the family outing was the fact that the 42-year-old actor and the 43-year-old actress rocked their wedding rings for their family date with their kids.
An insider close to the couple shed light on the family outing saying, "They feel like they have to be mature adults for their children's sake and that they will figure out the healthiest way to co-parent."
The insider went on to explain that Affleck and Garner "want the kids' lives to stay the same and to not have to change just because they aren't going to be married anymore."
In June, the Hollywood A-list couple shocked their fans when they announced that they are divorcing after 10 years of being together as husband and wife amid rumors that Ben cheated with former nanny Christine Ouzounian.
However, despite their split, the "Gone Girl" actor and the "13 Going On 30" actress maintained their communication and daily interaction for their kids.
A People insider even said, "They are still getting through and doing their own stuff and taking care of the kids, but it's not easy on them."
The kids are currently staying with Garner in Atlanta where she is currently filming her upcoming movie "Miracles In Heaven," as per Daily Mail.
