Gavin Rossdale's ex gay lover is speaking out following the English musician's breakup from wife of 13 years Gwen Stefani. Marilyn Robinson, the man claiming to be Rossdale's former lover has dropped some very shocking revelations about the couple.
In a no-holds-barred interview with Entertainment Tonight, Robinson admitted that Gwen Stefani may have already known about him and his relationship to her husband.
Robinson even said that it's a no-brainer for Stefani to know about his relationship with Rossdale though the No Doubt singer is "blonde."
Rossdale's ex claimed that following the breakup of the couple, many started to blame him, thinking that he was the reason behind the couple's split.
However, the London-based pop singer insisted that he is not the one to be blamed by fans since he had always wanted for Rossdale to be happy even if it meant letting him be with Gwen and their kids and live the life as a normal family.
Robinson, who met Rossdale back in the '80s, admitted that their relationship was more than being good friends since it was the time when the Bush lead singer and guitarist started to experiment.
Rossdale's gay lover also said that there is nothing wrong with what Rossdale did back then, adding that people should also experiment at some point in their loves to better understand who they really are.
Robinson noted that he thinks Rossdale is "living his truth. He's married, he's got children, he has his music."
This week, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale shocked their fans when they revealed that they have become part of the number of celebrity couples breaking up and filing for divorce.
As per Daily Mail, Gwen and Gavin filed for divorce due to "irreconcilable differences." They are also rumored to take things to court to appropriately have their wealth cut now that they are parting ways.
Stefani and Rossdale started dating in 1995 and they tied the knot in 2012. They have three kids: Kingston, DApollo Bowie Flynn and Zuma Nesta Rock.
Meanwhile, post-split, Stefani was spotted rocking it out in Beverly Hills, according to Us Weekly. She was photographed sporting a red plaid top, ripped jeans and striking heels. Sources said she looked upset in her first public appearance since the announcement of their split.
"Of course Gwen is upset. She really gave it her all and tried to make it work as hard as she could for years. She was in love with him and they had the family she always dreamed of," an insider explained.
