Just when we thought we've seen the entire all-star cast in the trailer of the highly-anticipated movie "Suicide Squad," a new report is beginning to circulate about who will portray Joker's bodyguard Jonny Frost.
"True Blood" actor Jim Parrack's participation in the anti-hero flick remained a mystery for quite some time, but there seems to be confirmation that he will actually be playing the henchman to Jared Leto's Joker.
Parrack's role as Joker's chauffeur and bodyguard was apparently "accidentally" given away by actress Corina Calderon, who has a smaller role in "Suicide Squad," through a social media post that has since been deleted, Cinema Blend reported.
"All #HappyCamper on my way to set again, going earlier than my #CallTime just to be there and watch my boy Jim Parrack playing #JonnyFrost do his Thang #SuicideSquad," Calderon wrote on Instagram.
The fact that the post was deleted reportedly means that the "End of Watch" star may have mentioned something that should not have been disclosed to the public. Unfortunately though, the leak has already been done.
Parrack's portrayal of Jonny Frost was first mentioned by The Wrap reporter Jeff Sneider, who is well known for breaking exclusive stories, according to Screen Rant.
In an episode of "Meet the Movie Press" way back months ago, Sneider said he'd been "told from reliable sources that Jim Parrack is in fact playing Jonny Frost."
Frost reportedly appears in the 2008 graphic novel "Joker" written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, as one of the supervillain's henchmen.
In the flick's first trailer, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is seen assembling a task force of the "most dangerous people in the planet" tasked to execute a dangerous black-ops mission in exchange for clemency, the International Business Times has learned.
"Suicide Squad," which will hit theaters Aug. 5, 2016, also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress among many others.
