"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 — Shooting for the anticipated installment has already started and stars of the series have hinted on what they have prepared for their fans.
Actress Mayim Bialik, who portrays Amy Farrah Fowler for instance, shared on Instagram several behind-the-scenes photos with her co-stars and revealed a few plot details about the forthcoming season.
In her blog, Kveller, the 39-year-old talks about the premiere episode of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9, which according to her, "will be a funny episode."
"Season 9 picks up literally less than 24 hours after Season 8 ended. So we will deal with everything you saw in the season finale: Leonard and Penny going to Las Vegas to get married, and Amy taking time off from Sheldon," Bialik wrote, according to Ecumenical News.
"It's a lot of group scenes, and some really good one-on-one scenes as well. Kevin Sussman ('Stuart') is back with some lines that are making me crack up in rehearsal already," she said of the season opener.
Bialik also dishes on Sheldon and Amy's break-up and assures her fans that she will appear in the show regularly.
"I got asked a lot this summer if I am coming back to the show," the actress continued, "Of course! Just because my character needed 'time off' from Sheldon doesn't mean we are broken up, and it certainly doesn't mean I am not coming back as a cast member."
In one of the pictures she shared on her first day back at the show's sets, Bialik is seen with her co-star Jim Parsons hinting on a possible Amy-Sheldon reunion in the upcoming season, the International Business Times reported.
Meanwhile, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who plays Penny, also teased fans with Instagram snaps of her and co-star Johnny Galecki (Leonard) at the CBS studios, 2paragraphs has learned.
Shortly after, she posted another TBT picture of her upside-down chandelier wedding cake apparently hinting on the Penny-Leonard wedding.
Season 8 of the series ended with the couple eloping to Las Vegas to tie the knot.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will premiere Sept. 21 on CBS. It has also reportedly been renewed for a tenth season.
