Anticipation for Apple's future releases is growing as new leaked images about the iPad Pro and the iPhone 7 have leaked online.
For the Cupertino-based tech giant's upcoming tablet model, online group The Techno Toast created a prototype of the iPad Pro based on previous information about the device, according to Yibada.
Based on the model's image, the 12-inch tablet sports an edge-to-edge design for the display, providing users with maximum screen space when using the device. With this design feature, the group also addressed potential problems of a bezel-less tablet.
Since its screen covers the edges of the tablet, the user can accidentally touch the display and activate some of its features simply by holding the device's sides.
Members of The Techno Toast were able to prevent this from happening by equipping their iPad Pro with a special system designed to ignore accidental touches on the screen's edges.
As for Apple's next iPhone model, which is currently named as the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7, YouTube's Unbox Therapy recently released a video showing the improvements made to the smartphone's exterior design, News.com.au reported.
According to the group, which is known for reviewing new and upcoming gadgets, Apple is attempting to prevent the same Bendgate controversy from returning and haunting its next flagship handset.
Last year, shortly after the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September, users began complaining about the durability of the handsets' casings. According to reports, if enough force is applied, or if one accidentally sits on the smartphone, the entire device will bend.
This then led to a #Bendgate online movement on various social networking sites which featured videos and photos of bent iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.
This time, though, Apple has reinforced the casings of the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7 to prevent it from bending. A side-by-side comparison of the current flagship model and the upcoming device revealed that the iPhone 7 is wider than the iPhone 6.
Despite the size difference, the former will still be lighter than the latter. This is because according to Gizmodo, Apple used a lighter yet stronger aluminum alloy to create the body of the new iPhone handset.
