Recently, the young Pop star Justin Bieber has recently made headlines, when he was pulled over by officer in Los Angeles for speeding, in which he said was caused by paparazzi following him. Now, he makes headlines again after being sued for $9 Million by an Oregon mother who went to his concert.
The woman from Oregon, Stacey Wilson, took her daughter to see Bieber's show in Portland, Oregon on July 14, 2010, according to the suit. She claims that it was incredibly loud inside the arena due to the celebrity's screaming fans. Allegedly, Bieber made it much worse when he climbed into a "heart-shaped aluminum/steel gondola" which was pulled out into the crowd.
In the suit, Betts claimed that Bieber "created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion." This resulted in her condition called tinnitus, which causes a constant whoosing sound that makes it hard to sleep. She additionally complained of other hearing-related damage.
The mother is suing Bieber, along with his record label, the concert promoter and the arena-demanding $9.23 million in damages.
Bieber has not released any comments at this time.
