Kate Upton has no shame in her voluptuous body, but one blogger seems to have an issue with it. An unnamed female blogger has associated Upton's full figure with animals, comparing her to a cow and a pig.
In a recent post on the website "Skinny Gurl," the blogger wrote: "Did you know that humans are 80% genetically identical to cows? Well, allow me to prove it to you..." She then posted a photo of the back of Upton's body while modeling lingerie on the runway.
The writer added that Upton was "confidently lumbering up the runway like there's a buffet at the end of it," and even referred to her as a "little piggie" with "huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition..."
The blogger wasn't left to get away with her stark comments however. In a July 8 post, she said that she had received numerous emails from angry readers who threatened to rape and kill her for her previous blog post about Upton.
In response to the post, Lesley Jane Seymour, editor-in-chief of MORE magazine defended Upton saying, "Running this site where you actually praise women for staying emaciated and skinny and then to go out there and then track someone who has a normal body, I mean, she's got issues."
Supermodel Carol Alt also said in Upton's defense, "She's laughing all the way to the bank. I would just keep your end up and keep moving forward."
The blogger admits that she had her "own issues" with food and eating and that it is clearly reflected through her posts. In her own defense which contradicts her initial post about Upton, she added, "There's nothing wrong with saying skinny is beautiful, just like there's nothing wrong with saying curvy is beautiful, or red hair is beautiful, or anything else someone happens to find appealing. It's an opinion, and we're all entitled to them."
