Kristen Stewart is already ending the incessant rumors and speculations about her sexuality. In a society where labels and definitions seemed to be significant, the 25-year-old former "Twilight" actress finally opened up about her sexuality.
In the September issue of Nylon Magazine, Kristen Stewart talked about her sexuality, which has been the target of controversy in the recent months when reports widely circulated that she's dating visual effects producer Alicia Cargile. And while the "American Ultra" star has yet to publicly confirm the rumored relationship, she also didn't deny it in her interview with the magazine, Us Weekly revealed.
"Google me, I'm not hiding," Stewart told Nylon. "I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don't think it's necessary to figure out if you're gay or straight. It's like, just do your thing."
Kristen Stewart also explained that she feels hesitant in labeling her sexuality, People noted. She additionally clarified why she chose to remain elusive about her sexual orientation since she doesn't feel she has the "perspective" to do otherwise.
"If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it," she said as USA Today's Entertain This quoted. "But I am an actress, man. I live in the f--king ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don't feel like it would be true for me to be like, 'I'm coming out!' No, I do a job. Until I decide that I'm starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving... I don't. I'm just a kid making movies."
Following her much-publicized breakup from ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson in 2012, Kristen Stewart has been constantly in the center of gossips targeting her sexuality. So, in her interview, she also made a confession about her feeling on the public's perception of her and even described herself as one the boys since she has three brothers, E! News noted.
"It's like I'm involved in a weekly comic book," she stated. "I have this assigned personality ... which I helped create, I suppose. People stand to make a lot of money on people like me - it's this booming industry, so why would you go and change the character that people are paying for?"
Meanwhile, as Kristen Stewart finally opened up about her sexuality, her ex-lover Robert Pattinson and his fiancée FKA Twigs have been rumored to have split but the wedding plans were still on. As previously reported, Stewart was reportedly banned from her ex-boyfriend's wedding because Twigs ordered him not invite his ex.
For Kristen Stewart's full sexuality confession transcript, Nylon's September issue will be out on newsstands by Aug. 25.
