Interesting bits about the highly anticipated movie "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" has been surfacing on the internet. This time, it is about Superman's beloved mom.
Warning: this article might contain spoilers for the upcoming film.
Well, aside from his evil deeds, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) seemed to find a way to make the cape crusader kneel apart from the Kryptonite. According to Cleveland, the arch nemesis will kidnap Superman's Earth mother, Martha Kent (Diane Lane).
With that being revealed, movie sites like Cinema Blend explained some hows and whys about the possible event.
Their first point leads us to the previous movie "Man of Steel." Notably, one of the movie scenes included Zod threatening Martha. Should the dots be connected, Lex Luthor might find this opportunity as Superman's weakness. Thus, saving his mother from his arch nemesis is going to be essential.
The site, however, was not sure about the details of the kidnapping incident. But they noted that this could be one of the reasons why Superman is kneeling in front of Luthor, as seen in the official trailer. Apparently, Luthor's character has always been about Superman's destruction. Making Superman beg is something that would possibly make Luthor ahead of the superhero.
Lastly, the site also gave the possibility that Batman or Wonder Woman might be able to save Martha from the hands of the villain.
DC enthusiasts and moviegoers alike might have to wait for the movie launch to confirm the rumored spoiler.
In other news, the film's costume designer shared some information regarding the character's wardrobe and visual look.
Michael Wilkinson revealed in an exclusive interview that he did a thorough research for the designs, according to Coming Soon.
"To get ready to design the costumes for 'Batman V Superman,' I really did my homework. I immersed myself in the long histories of these iconic characters," he said.
As for the suit's details, he said that Superman's suit was slightly derived from the "Man of Steel." Batman's costume, on the other hand, were "respectfully" derived from its comic book series.
Additionally, Wonder Woman's suit was mainly inspired from its TV show. Wilkinson also teased Aquaman's (Jason Mamoa) costume as the actor did not want to remove the outfit.
"Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres on March 25, 2016.
