Former One Direction member Zayn Malik and his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards might not be over each other yet. After Perrie's public meltdown on Aug. 19, Zayn is reportedly communicating with his former girlfriend once again.
The Little Mix singer seemed to get affected by the song content after performing the group's breakup song "The End." According to TMZ, Perrie could not help but let her tears fall down during their onstage performance.
Shortly after the incident, the ex boyfriend might have wanted to rekindle the relationship, Hollywood Life noted. The source revealed that the ex 1D member is desperately reaching out to Perrie upon learning the live onstage breakdown event.
Prior to the news, Hollywood life wrote that Zayn Malik has been ignoring her since the breakup. When not ignoring her, he has been dissing Perrie in social media. But the 22-year old british singer seemed to realize what he had done after what happened to Perrie in public.
It has been reported that their split was initiated by Zayn. On the side note, he allegedly called off their engagement and ended their almost four-year relationship via text message.
It is still unconfirmed if Perrie Edwards answered her ex boyfriend's calls and messages.
Meanwhile, some of his former friends, including One Direction, are worried about Zayn's behavior, the Daily Mail reported.
The site wrote that Zayn allegedly fought with DJ Calvin Harris on Monday night. After the feud, Harris stated that "he is self-destructing" and "a little boy who needs to grow up," referring to his split with the Little Mix member.
Another old friend who was unnamed also said that Zayn seems to disappoint so many people.
"He's pissing off so many people, it's very hard to see him having much support left by the time he's finally ready to release any music," as we quote from the source.
Zayn left his former band last March to pursue his solo singing career. This time, he signed under RCA records to reportedly make "real music."
Meanwhile, One Direction continues to be successful as a four-member group after his departure. They currently released their newest single "Drag Me Down."
