'The Good Wife' Season 6: Alicia, Kalinda Touching Scene Was All Thanks To CGI? Season 7 To Feature Hillary Clinton? [Rumors]

Amid the never-ending rumors about their alleged feud, Julianna Margulies' Alicia Florrick and Archie Panjabi as Kalinda Sharma's "reunion scene" in the television series "The Good Wife" was reportedly edited through the use of CGI.

Some avid fans of the show noticed that something was faked on the scene, International Business Times reported. Executive producers Robert and Michelle King addressed the allegation by stating that despite the fact the Margulies and Panjabi were not in the same location while filming the scene, their rumored off-screen rivalry was not part of the issue.

Additionally, Michelle King also explained the use of CGI in the series is nothing sort of new. One of the examples she showed was the use of a green screen to depict several locations on some scenes without the expense of travelling.

Notably, Archie Panjabi has reportedly left the show after the season, TV Guide noted. Meanwhile, some fans of "The Good Wife" series seemed to express mixed reactions upon watching the final scene, as seen on the site's comment section.

As for the upcoming season, Cinema Blend revealed that one of the most prominent politicians in the United States could be featured on the TV series. It has been reported that Peter Florick might attempt to run for presidency against Hillary Clinton, depicting a higher perspective on politics.

However, the site made it clear that inviting Hillary Clinton to appear on CBS' TV series may or may not be possible, but the producers's goal is to align what is currently happening with the Democratic party and associate it with the fictional show. Thus, citing Hillary Clinton as one the next season's feature might be essential.

Stay tuned for the upcoming updates regarding the series.

"The Good Wife" Season 7 premieres Oct. 4, 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
