Josh Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" was admittedly one of AshleyMadison.com's clients who indulged in online pornography and infidelity. When the infidelity site was recently compromised, his name was listed through the reveal by hackers.
The reality television star admitted on Thursday that he cheated on his wife, NBC News reported. The father of four was believed to own two different accounts from the infidelity website.
Prior to the original statement which was posted on the article, Duggar later revised his confessions, "I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him."
Aside from the shocking revelation, Reuters also noted that Duggar also confessed in May that he allegedly molested five different girls during his teenage years. The deed resulted in cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting" TV series in July.
Afterwards, he left his job as a lobbyist for the Christian group Family Research Council.
So far, Duggar is noted as the first "highest profile" exposed client of AshleyMadison.com. Last month, the site encountered a massive data hacking phenomenon that could expose not just Duggar, but its 37 million clients.
With the scandal being revealed, his family, especially his parents, was brokenhearted upon hearing the news.
"We're all hunkered down over here. It's just a mess, it's a whole mess. We don't even know what the truth is anymore. It's insane," an insider close to the family told People.
More than what he confessed last May, the latest scandal brought devastation among Josh Duggar's loved ones, another source stated.
Prior to his latest admission, he is believed to be living in recluse. But now that another controversy broke out, news readers and watchers might want to know what would be Josh Duggar's next move.
