Mariah Carey and her Aussie billionaire beau James Packer are allegedly expecting a baby. According to a new report, the couple are overjoyed at the prospect of being parents. Unfortunately, Carey's rep denied the rumors, claiming that the report is utterly untrue.
The rumor mill about Mariah Carey's alleged pregnancy started when an Australian tabloid published a report claiming that the "We Belong Together" hitmaker and her billionaire boyfriend are expecting their first child together. But as per E! News, the pregnancy report is absolutely false citing Carey's 2013 interview with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" where she said that her difficult pregnancy left her wanting to stop with two kids.
Furthermore, though Carey adores being a mom to her 4-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-husband Nick Cannon, she really didn't like being pregnant.
"If Nick could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring 'em on," she jested. "We love kids!"
In 2011, Mariah Carey also expressed her thoughts on pregnancy and admitted she was unprepared for the changes that having a baby can do to her body.
"Carrying two babies. Unless somebody's been through it, it's difficult to understand what I went through, because my pregnancy was very unique in terms of what happened to me," she told "20/20." "I had serious back problems...I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain."
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey's baby news came after another report claiming the "Heartbreaker" songstress and her rich boyfriend James Packer are planning to get married, Hollywood Life noted.
"He's already told her he wants to marry her, sooner rather than later," TMZ previously claimed.
In other news, Mariah Carey and James Packer's romance broke on June 19 after they were publicly seen getting cozy during an Italian getaway, Daily Mail reported. And though a baby is not in the cards for the couple right now, if ever they will have a baby, he or she would be the fourth in line to James' insane multibillion casino empire.
