Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe should be excited upon the surfacing news that there will be a "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Avengers" crossover, and Hawkeye seemed to hint a possibility as well.
Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Avenger's Hawkeye "seemed to indicate" that it could happen in the future, Comic Book noted. He was interviewed at the Wizard World Chicago panel this weekend.
However, the actor made it clear that it may not be right away, since the "Guardians of The Galaxy 2" and "Captain America: Civil War" release dates have already been set. And then, there will be "Infinity War I and II" in the future.
"You'll be eighty years old by then, and I won't be Hawkeye anymore. I'll be Dead Guy," he jokingly said during the interview.
After Renner brought up the possible crossover, movie site Cinema Blend thought the other way around. The site believed that Renner's knowledge about the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe could not be counted as an "insider-y level" as compared to such statements from Marvel President Kevin Feige. Thus, treating his assumption with a grain of salt.
Aside from that, the site also noted director James Gunn's post on Facebook on December that joining these forces has not been decided. But then again, the best thing we have to do is to keep an eye on every MCU update.
Meanwhile, as for the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" update, composer Tyler Bates is said to be returning for the film, Screen Rant wrote.
According to the source, Bates will feature a new edition of Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) "Awesome Mix." Aside from the Marvel movie, the composer is also known for his works in "John Wick" and "Watchmen."
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will launch in theaters on May 5, 2017.
