Three weeks after Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, Nick Gordon finally got the chance to say goodbye as he visited Krissi's grave at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey last week. The visit came after Whitney Houston's daughter's family banned him from attending his girlfriend's funeral services.
News about Nick Gordon's visit to Bobbi Kristina Brown's gravesite emerged after it was revealed that he and his mom Michele honored Krissi's memory through a trip to the beach on the day of her interment, E! News noted.
"Nick went to the beach with me on Friday during the services," Nick Gordon's mother told People. "He said the beach was always their favorite place to go, so he decided that he would honor her at a place that they both loved."
Despite banning Nick Gordon from visiting the hospital and attending Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral services, Krissi's boyfriend was able to pay his last respect by visiting her grave in New Jersey. According to Us Weekly, Brown was buried next to her mom, late singer Whitney Houston, on Aug. 3 after she died on July 26. Brown, who was found unresponsive in her bathtub in her home in Atlanta on Jan. 31, was in a medically induced coma for almost six months.
Meanwhile, Nick Gordon is currently facing a lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina Brown's conservator Bedelia Hargrove. The civil lawsuit, which is seeking over $10 million in damages, accused Gordon to be responsible for Krissi's wrongful death and for allegedly stealing from her bank account.
So far, no criminal charges have been filed against Nick Gordon, who has straightforwardly denied the accusations, claiming that his girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown, just took too many drugs on Jan. 31. Gordon's lawyers, Joe Habachy and Jose Baez, have also addressed the claims, dismissing them as false. His lawyers have released a statement calling the accusations in the lawsuit as "baseless" and "slanderous," International Business Times reported.
In other news, Bobby Brown has returned to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl to perform with Macy Gray in Los Angeles. As per Daily Mail, he thanked the audience for their support and was cheered on as he sang "Real Love" with Macy during the Smooth Summer Jazz gig.
