"Scorpion" Season 2 is returning this fall and will depict the love story of Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) and Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) further. Unfortunately, a beautiful woman, who remains to be unnamed, will capture Walter's attention.
Paige and Walter's love team fans will surely be alarmed with this latest "Scorpion" Season 2 update. However, they should not fret as the mystery woman, who is set to make an appearance in the sixth episode of the series, does not have Walter's best intention. In fact, she's a villainess who is just pretending to be interested in "Scorpion's" much-loved self-proclaimed genius and computer expert, CarterMatt noted.
"Episode 6 will find Walter getting aggressively pursued by a disarmingly beautiful woman at a hotel bar," TVLine revealed. "The hottie in question is later suspected of planting a worm in a security system Walter is designing. In other words, she probably was just pretending to be interested in him."
Meanwhile, "Scorpion" Season 2 will return with premiere episode titled "Satellite of Love." It will be followed by "Cuba Libre," "Fish Fillet," "Robots," and "Super Fun Guys." The title for the intriguing episode 6, however, is yet to be revealed.
Aside from romance, other woman and conning villains, new cast members will also be introduced in "Scorpion" Season 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, "The Last Ship" star Travis Van Winkle will be joining the cast this season and will appear on its episode 6. As previously reported, he will be cast as Ensign Nathan Hall, the character who'll have a clash with Walter and his Scorpion team.
Also joining the cast is Peri Gilpin, who will play the role of Homeland Security director Katherine Cooper. Gilpin's character will first appear in the fourth episode and will take over the leadership from Alana De La Garza's Deputy Director Adriana Molina, as per TVInsider. While "Kiss" lead singer Gene Simmons will also join the cast.
"Scorpion" Season 2 will continue as Walter and Paige, Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) are still struggling in sorting out their respective love issues. It will also follow the events of the first season's finale.
