"Fashion Police" is a disaster without Joan Rivers. A lot of things happened following the late comedienne's death. Ahead of its return this Sunday, the now controversial fashion talk show is getting more and more noisy as Giuliana Rancic and ex co-host Kelly Osbourne continue their feud, while "RHOA" star and "DWTS" alum NeNe Leakes takes on the vacant co-hosting slot.
Just a couple of hours ago, it was revealed that Leakes is expanding her "Real Housewives" queen bee reign into the talk show after it was revealed that she is joining "Fashion Police" when it returns to the small screen. According to HipHollywood, NeNe is sitting with once slammed "racist" commenter Giuliana Rancic, Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers and Brad Goreski, completing the foursome slot of the opinionated show.
Leakes dropped the big news on her personal blog. The post, entitled "Making Joan Proud," was interestingly a homage to the late co-host, who passed away following a cardiac arrest.
"I'm honored to sit next to @mel_rivers on Monday for #FashionPolice as she takes her mom seat for the very first time. Joan gave me some great career advice one day while I was there co-hosting and I have never forgotten her words!" she wrote.
She then added, "Tune in MONDAY to E and catch us readdddd these girls fashions hunni from the VMA's red carpet #lifeofnene #makingjoanproud #VMAS #FP #E."
The new "Fashion Police" co-host's announcement comes amid her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast mate Kenya Moore's statement against the former queen bee of the Bravo series.
Moore, who went head-to-head with NeNe during the "RHOA" Season 7 reunion over the latter's promise to donate to Detroit public schools, slammed the "DWTS" alum by revealing that Leakes has never realized her promised donation, as per WetPaint.
When a fan asked Kenya on Twitter if her cast mate already gave her supposed to be sizeable donation, Moore responded: "No @neneleakes has not and she never will. She only promised the money bc she was trying to humiliate me."
Moore then continued by telling another fan, "very sad I'm so disappointed that a human being would steal money from kid's (sic) and their education."
Perhaps fans will hear NeNe's side when "Fashion Police" returns. There is also the anticipation on whether or not she'll click into the group right away as Osbourne's replacement.
Osbourne, who left in February, is also moving on with her life, but she definitely left a remarkable impression to viewers by exiting the show following Giuliana Rancic's racist comment against young actress Zendaya.
Lately, the bad blood between the two seems to be peaking as Kelly has once again dissed Rancic saying she never liked her once "Fashion Police" co-host.
"I will never admit to liking Giuliana because I don't. I don't think she's a good person and I think she's a liar," Osbourne was quoted as saying in an interview with TheWrap.
