Derrick Rose's son P.J. was under the spotlight a couple of months ago for all the right reasons. This week. his Chicago Bulls playing father is under the scrutiny of the masses for the wrongs he has done in the past. The NBA superstar has been sued by a Jane Doe who claims the 26-year-old drugged and forcibly raped her in her own apartment.
Rose, who has been a good father to his family especially to his son P.J., is now on the edge of losing this positive image after this unidentified woman revealed in a lawsuit that the NBA superstar was one of the guys who gang raped her two years ago, despite only recalling flashes of the incident.
Derrick hasn't spoken out yet regarding the issue, but it's clear that this can taint his name and his career. The woman who is dragging the basketball player's name into the lawsuit has admitted to dating Rose for 2 years since 2011, but she maintained that throughout the different instances when Derrick attempted to take advantage of her, she refused, TMZ has learned.
This Jane Doe has claimed that while they were dating Rose has attempted to force her into masturbating in front of him and even engage in group sex with friends and strangers. However, all of these were unsuccessful.
In spite of the very sexually disturbing experiences she had with Derrick, the accuser revealed that she continued to date the NBA player until Aug. 2013. Their split however may not have been amicable, given that their relationship ended with Rose and pals Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton gang raping the woman.
According to Deadspin, Rose was first invited by the player to his Beverly Hills home before the father of one and his buds drugged the lady. The drugging incident actually failed at first since the plaintiff managed to escape and go back to her apartment with the help of a friend. However, just as she already thought of successfully escaping Rose and his friends, the latter broke into her apartment and raped her while she was still "incapacitated" as though this, too, was part of the plan.
It's not clear if the victim tried to contact authorities once the deed was done, but she claims that because she was too "ashamed and embarrassed" of the sexual assault, it took her two years to muster her courage and file a lawsuit against Derrick Rose and his pals.
If the claims of this Jane Doe are proven to be true, this would be a huge setback and disappointment for Derrick Rose, who made headlines for being a great father to his son Derrick Rose Jr. or P.J. in March. At the time, the Chicago Bulls player was going through a tough time when his team lost to the Cavaliers, as per The Post Game. However, the media attention was shifted to his son who joined his father in his interview post-Game 4. Several memes and gifs of Derrick Rose's mini-me even landed on the Web, to the delight of many basketball fans.
