"Suicide Squad", DC Comic's latest outing, is gaining steam as one of the most anticipated movies of the year. A film starring a group of villains, there have been a growing concern among fans why Warner Bros. and DC would make a film before establishing their team of heroes.
As reported by Screen Rant, the biggest buzz "Suicide Squad" generated is when it announced that Academy Award winner Jared Leto was cast to portray The Joker. The casting choice even became more polarizing among fans when the character's tattooed look was revealed.
But Leto's version of The Joker somewhat rebounded when the first trailer of the movie was shown. Those who immediately judged the casting are now intrigued.
According to ComicBookMovie.com, Leto's portrayal of the character was so convincing that he managed to scare Margot Robbie, one of his co-stars in the movie.
Harley Quinn, played by Robbie, is known as the accomplice-turned-girlfriend of green-haired clown villain. As for The Joker's characterization, Robbie said that it's "pretty impressive" and added, "At first it was kind of confronting to be up close , but now I'm so used to it, I think if I ever saw him out of makeup now I would be really confused. Actually, I saw him out of makeup once and I was actually petrified of him. I was too scared to go up and didn't know who that person was, and when he got back into his makeup I was far more comfortable."
Her character however, isn't too far on the craziness scale as she was reported as saying that Harley Quinn is so nuts, she's either going to kill you, laugh at you or even give you a hug.
Meanwhile, Jared Leto took to Instagram to say goodbye to his character's green locks as per IGN, after the movie wrapped up its production.
