"Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens" fans should be excited upon watching the first ever official movie teaser which has been revealed through their official Instagram account.
The movie trailer depicts Finn Stormtrooper yielding what it seems like Luke Skywalker's blue Lightsaber. Instagram recently released its new feature that users can now enjoy.
The newest "landscape capability feature" allows viewing of video clips in "widescreen format" on smartphones, tablets and such advanced devices, and "Star Wars'" official Instagram account did not hesitate to use this new feature to tease its 1.5 million viewers, CNN reported.
Given the fact that the teaser was revealed, speculations about its importance to "The Force Awakens" are surfacing quickly. On the one hand, CNN noted that the character might possess Jedi's sword abilities and might be able to fight against the villain, Sith lord Kylo Ren.
On the other hand, The Verge tried to connect the dots about its origin. According to them, the blue Lightsaber might be Anakin Skywalker's.
Notably, Anakin gave the Lightsaber to Luke and it was lost after his fierce battle with Darth Vader during "The Empire Strikes Back" saga. In the video, Finn seems to be holding the lost sword, and that might be a clue to a bigger and more significant revelation.
The "Star Wars" production's lips are still sealed regarding its promising movie plot so fans might need to witness the whole film.
As for Finn Stormtrooper, its actor John Boyega took to Twitter his emotional message after seeing the clip, as he wrote, "Frig my Life! I'm In Tears!"
