Miley Cyrus was spotted having fun yesterday when she walked the streets of Los Angeles disguised as an Australian reporter.
As reported by People, the sketch done by Cyrus for "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as she was tasked to ask unsuspecting pedestrians in Hollywood to know what people really think of the pop superstar.
One pedestrian was even quoted saying "I think she's starving for attention and that's why she's doing it all crazy like that," and further added that, "She's missing something somewhere."
Despite some of the unfavorable comments, Cyrus stayed in character and even agreed with the man. While most appeared to not have a clue, one person recognized her and said "I think you're Miley Cyrus right now."
The move was reported to be an effort to promote Cyrus as she was tasked to host this years MTV Video Music Award.
According to The New York Times, Miley Cyrus have promised that this year's VMA awards will be "raw" and "psychedelic."
Fans of the awards show will probably remember the time Cyrus took the stage two years ago when she performed her songs accompanied by raunchy dancers and her tongue out. The said performance further generated controversy when she crashed Robin Thicke's performance and began to "twerk" on the married singer.
Known for unorthodox performances, the pop singer will have the chance to take the stage again but this time, as the host.
Miley Cyrus continues to push the envelope as she just recently came out as pansexual, as reported by The Huffington Post.
According to Cyrus, she was never really comfortable with gender labels and said that she was open to be in a relationship with anybody regardless of gender, as long as they are of age.
In accordance with her sexual fluidity, she was most recently linked to Victoria's Secret Model, Stella Maxwell.
She further added to her claim that, "Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult —anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl."
