Carly Rae Jepsen recently joined a laundry list of stars who have been hit with leaked photos.
Jepsen told police she is the most recent victim of a computer hacker who stole nude photos of her and tried to rake in cash by selling them to media outlets.
Jepsen says these photos are real and that she is trying her best to keep them out of the public eye.
Authorities told sources at TMZ that Jepsen's representatives received an anonymous tip about the pictures several months ago and contacted the Vancouver Police Department.
Police later found that the cybercrime was real and that Jepsen's computer had in fact been hacked.
A representative for the Vancouver Police Department said that the crime is currently under investigation, "in regard to theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen."
Whoever is responsible for the hacking could face time in prison on charges of criminal harassment and unauthorized access of a computer.
Jepsen falls in a long line of celebrities who have had their nude photos leaked.
A little over a month ago, "Jersey Shore" star Snooki had nude photos of herself mysteriously pop up online for a second time.
In March, hacker Christopher Chaney was found guilty of getting into the email accounts of celebrities such as Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johansson, and Christina Aguilera, all of whom resultantly had nude photos leaked of them online.
