As "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 2 delves deeper on the impending collapse of Los Angeles' civilization, here are 5 gruesome things to watch out for in the upcoming episode of "The Walking Dead" prequel.

1. In "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 2 titled "So Close, Yet So Far," Travis will reclaim his superhero status.

In an interview with Lorenzo James Henrie, one of the actors of the series who plays the role of Travis' son Chris, Henrie revealed that Chris is a troubled teen who is trying to deal with his parents' divorce. He is blaming his dad, Travis, for no longer being the superhero he had been prior to the divorce, Inquisitr noted.

In the trailer video, however, Travis is struggling so hard to reclaim his superhero title with his son as he protects his family against the forthcoming doom caused by the zombie apocalypse.

2. Growing tensions and trust issues will be present in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 2?

A growing tension will be showed between high school counselor Madison (Kim Dickens) and English teacher Travis (Cliff Curtis) as try to blend their families. According to TV Guide, the intense dynamic will intensify when Travis seeks to find his ex-wife Eliza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and their son Chris.

Madison's daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), on the other hand, has to babysit her brother as he deals with withdrawal symptoms. While the trust issue works against Travis, who is described as the latest beau of Madison since Nick and Alicia's father died seven years before.

3. "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 2 synopsis revealed!

"As Madison struggles to keep Nick from crippling withdrawal, Travis ventures out to find his son before Los Angeles falls," the synopsis read, as per International Business Times.

Nick's ability to get what he wants will be an advantage for surviving the zombie apocalypse. Unfortunately, being a teenager will present challenges.

5. A mysterious new character will be introduced via a stand-alone online web series.

AMC is reportedly producing a 30-minute special that will tell a stand-alone tale, which is about a group of passengers facing a zombie attack on a passenger airliner, Entertainment Weekly has learned. One character who survives the attack will be joining the cast of "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2.
