"DWTS" Season 21 is heading back to the alphabet network this fall of 2015. Five-time champ Derek Hough is joining the reality dancing competition as usual. He has proven himself worthy of the mirrorball trophies, and now he is set to conquer the dance floor with a brand new partner. Who could it be?
While the show has been teasing fans of the lineup of stars gracing the "DWTS" dance floor this fall season, there was never any word on who are the dancing partners of the confirmed cast so far.
Derek Hough really knows how to tease fans as well. Last Friday, he took to Instagram to tease his fans of the star he is going to work with in the competition. Fans and social media followers of the professional dancer-actor then quickly responded to his interesting post.
Hough shared a snap of him widemouthed as he raises a microphone to his right. He appears to be building up the excitement in the picture, which he captioned: "My reaction when I found out my parter for #DWTS??!! @dancingabc.
Fans shared their guesses on Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend's post, with one fan pointing out that Derek's partner could be no other than Bindi Irwin.
Blissful_meli wrote: "Derek loves the challenge. spread love not hate. He'll be fine. Don't worry so much. if Bindy (sic) is his partner he is probably exited because he loves nature and animals. It will be great for him even though she is not that famous." The Instagram commenter then added: "Oh ya I forgot to mention. Bindi may not be a dancer or athlete or very famous but remember she is a fearless kind of girl, just the type of person Derek would want for a partner."
Another fan also supported the claim that Hough could be dancing with Irwin this season. "Well Derek was photographed in a rehearsal studio room with one of the workers kids along with Bindi during their rehearsal, and he was photographed leaving the rehearsal studio with Bindi's mom. And there have been partner leaks all over. Mark and Alexa were leaked as partners before she was even announced as a celeb on the show," derekandmarkfans wrote.
There's no confirmation so far, but he would surely do well no matter who he is partnered with. Bindi is the daughter of the late Steve Irwin and she was the first to be officially cast to join the show, according to 6ABC.
If it's not Bindi Irwin, there are three other female candidates who could be dancing with Hough when "DWTS" returns on national TV. There's "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak, "Through the Fire" singer Chaka Khan and cooking show television host Paula Deen.
While both Khan and Zolciak have already been confirmed to join the dance competition, Deen has yet to be officially announced as part of the new lineup of stars, reported Us Weekly.
"Dancing With The Stars" Season 21 will premiere this Sept. 14 on ABC.
