Rumors about "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" have continually emerged online. But a false information regarding the release of its movie teaser last week has disappointed several fans. While Angus Barnett and Giles New, who played the roles of Mullroy and Murtogg respectively, are speculated to join the cast of the upcoming Disney film.
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will not be premiering soon. In fact, its release date was set on Jul. 7, 2017, as previously reported. However, a teaser trailer was rumored to be released online on Aug. 24, but was claimed as false by a movie fan who posted on the film's IMDB message board.
After calling Walt Disney Studios to confirm if the rumors about the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" teaser release date was true, moviefanatic2015 revealed that it was totally not. The fan claimed that a woman who works in the studio and answered the call said the official teaser will be released online in the spring of 2016.
"I just called Walt Disney Studios and I asked a lady who works there that answered my call, When the teaser trailer for Pirates 5 will be released online and she said Spring 2016 (March, April or May 2016)," moviefanatic2015 wrote. "So, That means the rumor that its being released on Monday August 24th is false unfortunately, so it will probably be released with 'Alice: Through the Looking Glass' on Friday May 27th 2016."
The "Pirates" fan also added that the teaser trailer for the fifth installment of the nautical Disney film franchise won't be released until December 2016, citing that the woman at Disney was just making her own guesses.
"I've come to a conclusion that Pirates5's teaser trailer will be released in December 2016, rather than May 2016 with 'Alice: Through the Looking Glass' because that would be too soon for Disney to release it," moviefanatic2015 added, "If I had to guess, I'd guess it will be released on Monday December 12th 2016 online, and then later that week with 'Star Wars: Rogue One' in theaters on Friday December 16th 2016."
Meanwhile, earlier this month, there have been speculations that Angus Barnett and Giles New will be reprising their roles as Mullroy and Murtogg in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales." Some fans took to the movie's IMDB message board to express their thoughts and excitement about the characters' return. Unfortunately, it has not yet been confirmed.
In the previous update, it was revealed by Movie Pilot that Keira Knightly won't be returning as Elizabeth Swann but Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom will both reprise their roles as Jack Sparrow and Will Turner. While "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" plot won't be picking up where the previous film left off, instead it'll have a 20-year jump from "At World's End" and will follow the tale of Davy Jones' son.
