"Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer has chosen to pray for ex Corey Simms instead of joining the many fans of the MTV series who slammed her ex following last week's episode where he and girlfriend Miranda Patterson were allegedly "putting down" Leah despite what she's going through.
Leah tweeted on Monday a cryptic yet meaningful message which read: "All you can do is pray for those that live in misery and try to hurt others," which she wrapped up with an emoji of praying hands.
Though Leah didn't name names, some fans commented how the post suggested that it was intended toward what happened in last week's episode 8 of "Teen Mom 2." Twitter user @linderboo wrote: "Agreed, I hope you got the help you were seeking. I felt bad for how you were treated in the last epi."
Last week's episode saw Leah Messer attempting to talk to Corey and Miranda about the "intense therapy" she needed to undergo for her drug addiction and the need for the two to look after her kids while she's in rehab. However, Leah didn't get the response she was hoping for. Corey even said at one point, "The rumor around town she takes anything she can get her damn hands on."
The episode drove many fans to take to social media to slam Corey and Miranda, but Simms has since fought back. He also explained on Twitter his and Miranda's side saying: "Reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment.
Though Leah's ex got positive feedback, he still took the chance to address the people who continue to lash him online. He wrote: "Thank you to the people who understand and to the people that don't well that just sucks now don't it?"
The reality TV storyline of Leah Messer continues this Thursday, and the show has already dropped a couple of snippets on its official Facebook page. The teaser clip hints that Leah's mother, Dawn, will try to get permission from Corey for her to bring the kids to their mom on Mother's Day. She tells Corey that "it's her time" — referring to Leah — to be with her girls. However, when Corey asks where this facility is located, Dawn refuses to spill the beans.
Simms then tells his ex mother-in-law, "I'm not saying it's a problem. I'm just saying I have to do my job," OK! magazine has learned.
