Nike, not only famous for their sneakers and celebrity endorsements but also their "Just Do it" tagline, is creating a new tagline exclusively for Instagram called #MakeItCount. Celebrity athletes used the hashtag first to jumpstart the campaign.
The most followed brands on Instagram according to iMedia are MTV, Starbucks E! Online, Victoria's Secret and Burberry.
If advertisers and Instagram could create a way that users could purchase products through the social networking mobile app, sky would be the limit for profit margins.
