Danice McKellar, renowned actress and mathematician, is set to judge the upcoming Miss America 2016.
According to TVGuide.com, the program committee of Miss America 2016 released a statement that said, "The Miss America Organization shares my passion for the advancement of women in the STEM fields and celebrates smart, strong women, I am proud to be part of the show and an organization that is such huge advocate for education."

Danica McKellar, as an actress, was seen in "Wonder Years" which was her debut in 1988 and remained on the show until 1993. She also appeared in "How I Met Your Mother," "The West Wing" and "The Big Bang Theory" and also competed in the "Dancing With the Stars."
According to NJ, she is also a Mathematician and now authors books such as, "Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail," "Hot X: Algebra Exposed" and "Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape." These books aim to help young students to be educated and skillful in Math.
TVGuide.com also revealed some stars who will also be part of the judging panel. They are country music star Brett Eldredge, author Taya Kyle, "Shark Tank" investor Kevin O'Leary, Paralympian Amy Purdy and singer-actress Zendaya.
Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet will both host the competition, Nick Jonas will be the musical curator and the event will be produced by the Miss America Organization and Dick Clark Productions.
The competition will air Live from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, September 13 on ABC.
