Hugh Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness does not have to worry at all even if her husband gets partnered with Brad Pitt's wife Angelina Jolie. The "X-Men" actor has proven time and time again that he is loyal to his first and one and only wife since tying the knot in 1996.
Jackman, who surprised fans on Wednesday when he revealed that he was tapped to play James Bond before Daniel Craig snagged the deal for four Bond movies, took to Twitter on Sunday to celebrate and announce his undying love to his wife. He shared a snap of him and Deborra-Lee and simply captioned it with the hashtag of #love.
The couple is already close to reaching the 20th year milestone in their marriage. And it seems that there's nothing that can stop them from reaching that milestone next year. Not even Jolie, whom Deborra-Lee singled out as the actress that her husband is not allowed to work with.
In July, Hugh Jackman's wife jokingly said, "I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina," to ET Online. At the time, the "Wolverine" actor chimed in that there are certain rules in their marriage. He said, "We have a lot of rules. We're very balanced."
And the romance between the two just keeps getting better. Jackman has frequently expressed his love to his wife by sharing sweet tweets with his nearly six million followers. In August, Jackman shared a cute snap of him donning long hair and his wife also sporting long locks, according to Daily Mail.
Early that month, the Australian actor also shared a sweet #TBT or ThrowbackThursday snap of his honeymoon with Furness in April 1996. And on the very first day of the month, he also declared his love for his wife via Twitter by sharing a couple selfie, which he captioned "A beautiful night, with my beautiful wife."
Meanwhile, since time is up for Craig in playing the James Bond role, Hugh Jackman has revealed that he'd "seriously consider it" if Craig stepped aside of the famous agent character, The Guardian has learned. However, there are no confirmations if Jackman was really considered for the role. Plus, he may have a tough rival in snagging the title, Idris Elba , who is the frontrunner to play the famous agent.
