The Black Sabbath tour, in 2016, has been officially announced. Known for their heavy metal sound, the members will hit the stage for the last time next year, but without Bill Ward?
Unfortunately, the final tour is true. The Black Sabbath tour next year will be the band's last, The Guardian reported.
Original drummer Bill Ward, whose feud with Ozzy Osbourne is reportedly ongoing, is missing from the tour list. Ward revealed to Rolling Stone, in April, that he did not know whether or not he is still a part of the band.
Many fans want, and some are hoping for, the quartets' reunion in the upcoming Black Sabbath tour. However, it's reportedly less likely to happen.
"I wish them well, and I have no further comment," Ward told the same site, when he was asked for a statement about the tour.
"The End" will start the North America leg on Jan. 20, followed by Canada, Australia and New Zealand. However, it is curious that there is no listed schedule for Birmingham, England, where the legendary band was formed.
In the video announcement, the last schedule listed for the Black Sabbath tour was on April 30 in Dunedin, but it did not say specifically say that it will end there. The voiceover only said, "When this tour concludes, it will truly be the end."
Various fans are now hoping for more announcements about the upcoming tour events, after the slated shows in April. The Black Sabbath tour organizers and producers will add more cities or countries to "The End" leg before it finally concludes.
The band may not be able to perform in the Grammy Awards next year, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune. The annual event is reportedly scheduled on Feb. 15, which is the same day when the heavy metal band visits Denver.
