"America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 has gone "au naturel" in episode 5 last Wednesday night. And the remaining model hopefuls were treated with a challenging shoot that required them to give it their all since the photos will not be altered or photoshopped, hence, the challenge name "#NoFilter." While Lacey's pic was named as best photo of the week, three models were put at the rock bottom, namely: Justin, Hadassah and Dustin. In the end, Dustin was sent home. "ANTM" Cycle 22 episode 5 was appropriately entitled, "The Guy Who Gets a Hickey," and it was an obvious clue that sparks will fly in between the models, such that one guy model will end up with hickeys. Last week's episode revealed that Mikey and Ashley as well as Justin and Mame have already been hooking up. And poor Courtney, who thought Mikey was attracted to her, ended up depressed, according to BuddyTV.
The drama in "ANTM" cycle 22 didn't end there. Ashley, who was confident that Mikey's loyal to her, ended up with crushed hopes when Mikey took another model over a romantic dinner, and it was Devin. Say what? In his confessional, Mickey even admitted that Ashley's some kind of an "undercover lover."
Then, there was this confrontation between among Bello, Mikey and Ashley. Apparently, Ashley and Mikey were getting on Bello's last nerve when they groaned and insulted the latter. This led Bello to push the lover's bed away with his foot which just triggered Mikey to almost get into a physical fight with Bello, as per Celeb Dirty Laundry. Good thing the other models stopped Mikey or he could have been sent home just like Romeo in the previous "ANTM" cycle.
A lot of other dramatic events took place, but it was Justin who inspired the title for the episode when he got some hickeys after spending time with ladylove Mame. Justin realized while doing the challenge shoot that a good model should not show up to a shoot with hickeys. Apparently, it was not only him who needed some retouching on the skin. In the challenge, Mikey had a tattoo removed, which could have helped him win the challenge and secure that romantic date with Devin.
Meanwhile, when it was up for the models to be comfortable in their own skin, only three of them impressed the judges: Lacey, Mame and Devin. Challenge winner Mikey event got the "boring" comment from Tyra Banks while Kelly told him he was just too "yesterday" in the photo. Devin was commended for his photo which gave that athletic vibe that Tyra really liked. The "ANTM" host even shared that Devin had 30 good shots for the #NoFilter photoshoot and it was really hard for them to choose the best one. Despite the praises, it was Lacey's photo that was named best photo of the week.
Meanwhile, at the other side of the board, Justin, Hadassah and Dustin were pitted against each other in the decision that would send one of them home. Surprisingly, Nyle's best bud Dustin was the one who got sent home after Hadassah was spared by fan votes.
