BlackBerry Venice [VIDEO] Android Slider RELEASE DATE Looms; Features & Specs Here!

BlackBerry fans can once again rejoice as the Waterloo, Canada-based tech company is making a loud comeback in the smartphone market before 2015 wraps up. The company that's known for producing business-centric devices is back with a unique QWERTY slider device dubbed as the BlackBerry Venice.

For smartphone users who want the combination of both a touchscreen device and a QWERTY keyboard, BlackBerry has answered their prayers with its upcoming Venice smartphone that is set to be out in the market on its release date in November of this year.

Design&Trend has learned that all four major U.S. carriers have already agreed to offer the highly anticipated device when it gets officially unveiled to the public eye.

Months prior, there have been a considerable number of leaked info on the BlackBerry Venice and even the rumor mill was filled with speculations on what the device would look like. Just recently, however, alleged images of the Android smartphone surfaced online, confirming rumors that it is a touchscreen device with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The sliding keyboard is very easy to use and is seen as a great added feature to a touchscreen device, as it can make typing faster. However, the possible issue with the device is the possible awkwardness when trying using it with one hand, most especially that the screen size of the display has yet to be confirmed.

GSM Arena has already learned a couple of details on the specs and features of BlackBerry Venice. The screen is said to be sporting 1440 x 2560 pixels, while the handset is believed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and a hexa-core CPU that's clocked at 1.8 GHz.

The internal memory of the Android QWERTY slider has yet to be known, but it has already been confirmed to come with 3GB of RAM.

In terms of camera technology, the new BlackBerry device is expected to hit stores with an 18-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear-facing snapper is said to come with dual LED flash and optical image stabilization, International Business Times reported.

More details on the upcoming BlackBerry Venice will arrive in the coming days, so stay tuned.
