Caitlyn Jenner wasn't always in favor of gay marriage. She may be all for man-woman matrimony, but it's a different story when it comes to her daughter Kylie Jenner.
The rumored engagement of Jenner's daughter with her boyfriend, Tyga, has been spreading all over. Despite her traditional views toward marriage, the reality star reportedly still thinks that Kylie and the rapper are too young for such commitment.
"This is not the kind of news Caitlyn wants to hear," a source told Hollywood Life exclusively. "She thinks Kylie is way, way too young to be in such a serious relationship, let alone be engaged."
The "KUWTK" star is tight-lipped about the rumored engagement with her 22-year-old beau, Life&Style reported. However, the diamond ring is kind of hard to ignore.
If Kylie remained silent about her future plans with Tyga, the former Olympian, on the other hand, openly talked about his views towards marriage — heterosexual and gay — and eventually finding a partner.
A teaser of an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airing on Tuesday revealed that Jenner did not favor gay marriage.
"I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago, 20 years ago, whenever it was that the whole gay marriage issue came up, at first, I was not for it. I mean, I thought, 'I'm a traditionalist,'" she said during the interview, The Wrap reported.
She added though that as time went by, her views have changed to, "If that word — 'marriage' — is really, really that important to you, I can go with it."
It was reported earlier that Jenner opened up about wanting to date a man. According to TV Guide, Ellen DeGeneres took the opportunity and asked if she would continue dating women now that she's transitioned.
Jenner did not exactly say whether she would like to date men or women, rather she mentioned about eventually wanting to have a partner. However, it seems that at present she has different priorities.
"Right now, I'm just very busy doing a lot of things and kind of getting used to where I'm at and who I'm at," she said.
