The rumor mill also has sources claiming that the new Microsoft hybrid will have Intel's Core M processor and more powerful variants, namely: the Core i5 and Core i7.

In terms of software, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to come with Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system. The Windows 10 update is said to be a big step-up to Windows 8, and it is the first to come with Internet Explorer's replacement, Edge browser.
