"Heroes Reborn" is definitely getting a lot of promotions. Other than the teaser clips and social media promotions, NBC will be bringing the show at Times Square for a huge exposure, together with its other series premiering this Fall, "Blindspot," Niagara Frontier Publications has learned.
This initiative is part of the network's marketing strategy to make the public aware of the "Heroes Reborn." Fans will get to experience being heroes, have their snaps taken, with a ball of fire — it's an animated one, don't worry — on their hands.
There will be a huge digital billboard placed next to the activity area that will stream fan images as they participate in the show's activities. The fan photos that will be taken will also be shared via social media.
Fans will be given the chance to play a hero with pyrokinetic abilities through a 4-D (multisensory visuals and kinetic effects) interactive experience. There will be scenarios, and the participants will reportedly get to experience using the pyrokinesis to aid their escape.
"Heroes Reborn's" official Twitter account reveals that the event will be held at the Times Square's Pedestrian Plaza on Sept. 12-13.
After the five-year hiatus of the original "Heroes" series, which started when the original's runtime ended in 2010, the "Heroes Reborn" will be having its two-hour premiere on Sept. 24. NBC's new series is predicted to be a TV show hit, together with "Supergirl," Outer Places reported.
The original show's finale may have not pleased some of the viewers, but it has helped the new show gather some credit. Not giving away too much of the plot, the teasers and posters have intrigued the now-eager fans to watch what's in store for "Heroes Reborn."
A few of the original cast will be reprising their roles, such as Jack Coleman, Masi Oka and Christine Rose, as per Latinos Post.
"Heroes Reborn" will be featuring new faces, including Ryan Guzman, Danika Yarsoh, Robbie Kay, Gatlyn Green, Judith Shekoni and Dylan Bruce, whose character still remains a mystery.
