Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato seem to have moved passed their feud as they pose for a new selfie on Instagram, on Thursday.
It was captioned, "Look at how #coolforthesummer we are.. Friends for years, #sameoldlove."
The uploaded snap of the former Disney stars together brought so much excitement to their fans. In fact, one of them, isaluvsjb, wrote on the comments, "I want to cry and jump for joy and I am so happy."
Meanwhile zammykins commented, "OH MY GOSH YESSSSSSSS."
Following that comment, hallerzz_ wrote, "THIS IS MY LIFE AND IM CRYING."
Ichikiz added, "I been waiting for this moment [emoji] love you girls [emoji]."
Gomez, 23, and Lovato, 23, have known each other since they were kids. The singers first starred on "Barney," and even when they had their separate shows later, they remained pretty close.
Just like any normal friendships though, things started to fall apart between them.
"She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing," Gomez said at the time, E! News reported. "I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.'"
The "One and the Same" singers tried to patch things up after that. Then came the unite4:good gala and Variety's unite4:humanity event in Feb. 2014, where they were reportedly last seen and photographed together.
Afterwards, things got rocky again between the "Princess Protection Program" costars.
The "I Really Don't Care" singer stopped following Gomez on Twitter in 2014, Huffpost Entertainment has learned. When she appeared on the Aug. 14 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," she was asked why she unfollowed her former BFF on the social media.
"I think it's just one of those things where people changed and people grow apart," she replied at the time.
Time seems to heal all wounds because a year later, the "Skyscraper" singer started following her old BFF again on Twitter, Hollywood Life found out. The "Same Old Love" sonsgstress even wished her old gal pal a happy birthday on Aug. 20.
