After months-long silence since daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's bathtub accident that led to her untimely death, Bobby Brown has finally broken his silence. During an interview, he reavilled that he believes that ex-wife Whitney Houston played a part in calling their daughter to heaven.
During Bobby Brown's interview on the Fox show "The Real" on Monday, he opened up for the first time saying that things would have worked out differently for his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, if he has been with her days before she was found unresponsive in her bathtub. But according to Daily Mail, the 46-year-old New Edition singer finds comfort with the belief that Houston was watching over their daughter when she died and "called her."
"If I could have been there two days before, it wouldn't have went down like that," he said, as per CBS News. "We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen, but when God calls you, he calls you, and I'm pretty sure her mother had a part of that, like, 'Come on -- get her up here' -- in the best way possible. 'She was not comfortable by herself, I guess, and she just called my daughter with her."
Earlier this year, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub in her home she shared with Nick Gordon in Georgia. She was rushed to the hospital but she was placed in a medically-induced coma and on life support for six months. And despite extensive treatments, her condition didn't improve until she died on July 26, New York Daily News noted. Until now, her death, which mirrored her mom's in 2012, is still under investigation and the final autopsy report is yet to be handed down.
Meanwhile, Bobby Brown, joined by his wife Alicia Etheredge, also spoke about how he's dealing with the loss and shared his fondest memory of his late daughter.
"It's an everyday process, it's not easy at all," he said as ABC News quoted. "God was gracious enough to give me a baby girl in the last two months."
"Her smile, not just because we have the same smile," he added. "Her smile and her graciousness with loving people. She was so kindhearted, she always took care of her friends..."
Furthermore, Bobby Brown then spoke about the place he's building on honor of his daughter called, "Bobbi Kristina Serenity House." The singer said he felt the need to build such place for young girls and women who need help.
"It's for young girls and women of all ages to have place to come when in bad relationships," he said. "I feel it's needed."
