Samsung Galaxy S7 is already rumored to be released just months after Samsung rolled out the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
With the release of fierce smartphone rival, Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Samsung is already creating buzz with its latest phone according to Stuff.tv
Dubbed by Samsung as "Project Lucky," the Galaxy S7 is rumored to be equipped with an Exynos 8890 chip, which also goes by the name "M1 Mongoose."
The Exynos is said to show a nearly 50 percent improvement on both single and multi-core usage. However, the tested prototype of the new Samsung Galaxy is apparently tuned to a lower CPU frequency, resulting in less than stellar numbers.
As reported by the iDigital Times, the "M1 Mongoose" is clocked at 2.3GHz but, some variants of the Galaxy S7 may instead use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip.
Apart from the new processor chip, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will enjoy an expandable memory, a feature absent to Samsung's current Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
The new Samsung Galaxy S7, in addition to its rumored expandable memory, will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage memory.
According to reports, Samsung has apparently figured out a way to keep its new storage protocol while also giving Android supporters the expandable storage they clamor for. However, it is still unclear whether the Galaxy S7 will feature a removable back panel, a feature available on older generations of the Galaxy line-up.
As reported by Phones Review, the Galaxy S7 will have a Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and a whopping 20-megapixel rear camera. The front-facing camera however, will feature 10 megapixels.
And to completely compete with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, rumors are also pointing that Samsung will come in two different sizes, with one of them featuring 4K resolution.
Will Samsung finally retake its throne as the "King of the Androids" and finally give the Apple iPhone, a run for its money?
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a speculated release date in early March 2016, with a starting price of $900 according to Digital Spy.
