‘Supernatural’ Season 11: 3 HORRIFIC Things That Are Bound To Happen On CW’s Hit Series This Fall 2015

"Supernatural" fans unite! Season 11 is just around the corner and things are not looking great for the Winchester brothers (like always). Ahead of the show's fall premiere, here are three things every true-blue hunter should know.

1. Darkness is coming

Well, there is no escaping the Darkness that is about to envelop the "Supernatural" series when Season 11 arrives. This has already been teased in the finale of the previous season while Sam and Dean's car got stuck in the mud as they were making their way to the Impala. Dark clouds swirled to the ground and the Darkness has seemingly devoured whatever it touched.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Darkness that will continue to wreak havoc in the "Supernatural" world may be a pre-Biblical entity. There is no word on what this entity could bring into the show aside from darkness (duh!). Interestingly, Jared Padalecki has shared what the purpose of this darkness could be.

"I think [the Darkness] certainly opens the door for Lucifer and/or God to pop up," the actor who plays Sam on the long-running series said. "We're certainly going back to that and going a bit more biblical and having our take on the writings that didn't make it into the Bible."

2. The biggest baddest female villain

Along with the suffocating presence of the Darkness is the introduction of this season's big bad. The Winchester brothers may have fought a lot of supernatural entities in the past, defeated a lot of evil, battled Lucifer and even stopped the apocalypse, but "Supernatural" Season 11's main villain is expected to be very powerful.

The showrunners and actors are mum on what this mega-villain is capable of, but Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, has leaked that their biggest enemy is not a he but a she, according to a separate Entertainment Weekly report. "As of right now we have it built as one specific entity, obviously that would be a character that we're introducing," he said before adding, "But whatever the reach of that character, what that character can do, we're not quite sure of. We don't know the scope of her powers."

3. The absence of any silver lining?

"Supernatural" Season 11 is set to be as gloomy as how the previous season wrapped up. Castiel is still in attack mode after Rowena betrayed him and casted a spell to make Castiel attack Crowley in the previous season finale, as per Hypable. While the realization of Rowena's spell remains to be seen, Sam and Dean will have a hard time looking for a silver lining amid the arrival of the new villain. For one thing, Ackles said that the hunter siblings are very clueless on what could be a good attack against their new foe.

"This one's interesting because it's not really a monster. It's more of a primal force that we know nothing about. There's no lore; there's no guidebook; there's no instruction manual on how to deal with this," Ackles said.

Hopefully, Padalecki was not kidding when he said that God could be making his way to the show. "Since we know God's a scribe, we may have to invite him along for the ride," the actor said. The still photos from the premiere episode hint that Sam and Dean will be working on a case that involves a newborn baby, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Could this case be the key as to what lies ahead and what entity is really after the Winchesters?

"Supernatural" Season 11 is premiering on Oct. 7. Catch the show when it drops its pilot episode at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
