"Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot could have been somebody else in the DC Cinematic Universe.
According to Bat-Man News, the new "Wonder Woman" spoke with Israeli website, Xnet, and told how karma is important in her life. Gadot said, "when I was a month pregnant with (my daughter) Alma, I got an offer to be the evil Superman character. If I wasn't pregnant I'd take the job, and there's no way they would take me now to be Wonder Woman."
In an interesting twist of fate, passing on a substantial supporting role on "Man of Steel" turned out to be for the best as she was eventually cast as the heroine,Wonder Woman.
According to Cinema Blend, "Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot first became famous in Hollywood when she played the character Gisele Yashar in the "Fast & Furious" movies.
Gadot's name became even bigger when it was announced last year that Gadot will be playing DC's beloved and most popular heroine, Wonder Woman.
But not everyone is thrilled by the news of Gadot playing Wonder Woman. According to Unreality TV, when Warner Bros. announced that the actress would indeed play the beloved superhero, the initial reaction resulted in a backlash.
Many were criticizing Gadot's slender appearance as Wonder Woman is usually known for her rather strong built.
And as stated, Gadot almost ended up playing a Superman baddie, which in this case, General Zod's second-in-command, Faora.
Faora, like Zod, was a Kryptonian banished to the Phantom Zone before the destruction of their planet Krypton. They were accidentally freed from their banishment and has now planned to make Earth their new home.
But it seems that everything went well in the end. Although the Faora character is quite interesting and the actress who portrayed her did a fine job, you simply cannot top playing "Wonder Woman."
