"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is highly anticipated by viewers partly because it has left a lot of cliffhanger on the previous season.

Remaining and living characters in "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Reprising their roles are Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), John Bradley-West (Sam Tarly). Bran Stark and Hodor will also be back for Season 6. There have been rumors that The Hound will likewise make an appearance. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will feature some flashback scenes so expect to see old characters such as Ned Stark and Three-Eyed Raven, as per Cinemablend.
Greyjoy
Not much has been seen about Theon Greyjoy's kin but reports have surfaced that his eldest brother, Euron Greyjoy will present himself in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Euron is described in George R. R. Martin's book as a pirate who runs "Silence," where the crew manning the ship have no tongues. Rumored to play the part is Pilou Asbaek.
Tarlys
As for the Tarlys, Watchers on the Wall reported HBO has officially confirmed James Faulkner ("Downtown Abbey"), Rebecca Benson ("Macbeth") and Samantha Spiro ("London Spy") will play Samwell's father Randyll Tarly, sister Talla Tarly and mother Melessa Tarly respectively. The three actors will comprise Sam's family together with Freddie Stroma's Dickon Tarly, as Sam's brother. It can be recalled that Sam left Jon Snow right before the stabbing incident.
Meanwhile, TV Line has details that Essie Davis ("Babadook") will play Cersei Lannister as a member of the Braavosi theater performers that showcases the happenings in King's Landing.
