iPad Mini 4 Will Save You Bucks From Buying Another Apple Product — Find Out Why

Apple recently unveiled the iPad Mini 4 to the world, giving a lot of consumers out there who are thinking of buying an Apple tablet another reason to think things through before making that purchase. For what it's worth, a repair firm has found an interesting thing about the iPad Mini 4 that could help you choose it over the iPad Air 2.

According to TechRadar, repair firm iFixIt took the time to really examine the iPad Mini 4. And by examine, they literally tore down the Apple device bit by bit and piece by piece, just to get a clear view on what makes this mini tablet worth every penny you are going to splurge on it.

So according to the repair firm's examination, the iPad Mini 4 performs well and efficiently because it has Apple's A8 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Also, the really thin tablet is made possible by the 7.9-inches laminated glass display that is also very thin.

The iPad Mini 4 is also capable of squeezing up to 10 hours of juice all thanks to its 5,120 mAh single-cell battery. Apple even claims that although this is smaller than the 6,471 mAh double-cell battery of the iPad Mini 3, it lasts just as long on average use.

iFixIt also found out that Apple gave the FaceTime camera a shrinking treatment by reducing its footprint substantially, perhaps to ensure that it would fit in perfectly to the slim body of the device.

The Wi-Fi antenna arrays are reportedly split, with one part found on top of the camera and another just below the speaker, AppleInsider has learned.

The iPad Mini 4 also comes with an 8MP iSight camera and Touch ID that is integrated into the display cable. In the end, the examination revealed that the new mini tablet from Apple is just a smaller version of its iPad Air 2.

Gizmodo noted that the main advantage of this discovery is for users to be informed that if they want to save about a hundred bucks, the iPad Mini 4 is the better choice than the iPad Air 2 — provided they don't mind the smaller footprint of the new tablet.
