"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has just recently started filming in Atlanta and the latest on the James Gunn helmed-filmed is an update on the cast that will join Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper).
Aside from the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" main characters, a few key supporting players like Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) will also be making their appearances in the sequel to "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Furthermore, the latest cast member to officially join "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" as per Cinemablend is none other than: Kraglin! Sean Gunn, director James Gunn's brother told The Nerdist that he will suit up as second-in-command to Yondu.
He said, "I am very proud to say that I will be returning as Kraglin, the first mate of Yondu, one of the Ravagers." Kraglin will presumably be doing what his boss, Yondu, would require of him as well as pursuing missions with his co-Ravagers.
Aside from portraying Kraglin, Comicbookmovie.com reported Sean Gunn will also be acting out a number of other characters on "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."
The talented actor played on-set Rocket, a Sakaaran guard, Thanos and so on in front of the green screen. This time around, he will be sharing his skill again. Gunn exclaimed, "I'm very excited to film. Essentially I helped with the actors, giving them a performance to work off of and help the visual effects team when they do the reference work. I will be doing some more of that in the sequel."
Meanwhile, Fashion & Style has come up with some of the plotlines that viewers would want to see in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." First off, a look into the origins of Rocket will be highly appreciated by fans of the movie since the tough yet vulnerable character was well-received by viewers. Another scene might be Gamora, Thanos' adopted daughter facing off with her foster father after betraying him. Thanos may have some help from Nebula who was avidly loyal to him. Lastly, fans would love to discover if the reincarnation of Groot would have the same personality as the old one.
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will hit cinemas on May 5, 2017.
