"Quantico" follows Priyanka Chopra's Alex Parrish and a group of new and vibrant FBI recruits — Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy), Max/Simon Asher (Tate Ellington), Eric (Brian J. Smith) and Nimah Anwar (Yasmine Al Massri) as they hurdle Quantico Base's extensive training. The catch, all these new recruits are hiding something mysterious which will ultimately lead to the tagline, "They're America's best recruits but one of them will become our most feared enemy."
In the "Quantico" trailer released by ABC, Priyanka Chopra's character, FBI recruit Alex finds herself recovering from unconsciousness in the wake of a massive Grand Central Terminal explosion. Then, a flashback of her journeying to Quantico Base where she met Ryan on the plane with whom she ended up having sex with in a car when they reached land. She thought that would be the last she would see of him but found herself awkwardly staring at him inside the FBI Academy after taking their oath as new recruits. Glimpses of the other casts can also be seen making their way towards Quantico. All seemed to be mysteriously having agenda of their own, as per Hollywood Life.
Meanwhile, "Quantico's" Twitter page showed another shorter clip about the recruits' as they undergo their training and teased about who among the recruits will turn terrorist and create massive destruction in the United States soil.

Now, if you're wondering who Priyanka Chopra is and the hype surrounding "Quantico," Entertainment Weekly revealed that the Bollywood actress is equivalent to Angelina Jolie, in terms of stardom in her native India. She's also lauded as India's Best Actress — having won the National Film Award, Oscar's equivalent in the U.S.
Before landing the lead role of FBI trainee-cum-possible terrorist in ABC's "Quantico," Priyanka Chopra has done above 40 Bollywood films, released several chart topping singles and hosted "Fear Factor" India. This is the first time that a U.S. TV series will be headed by a Bollywood actress.
