WWE ‘Night of Champions’ Match Results: Rollins, Cena Big Winners Of Event & Sting Injured?

WWE just recently concluded their highly successful pay-per-view, "Night of Champions."

As successful as it may be, everyone can't be a winner. For starters, as reported by What Culture, Seth Rollins ended the night with one less belt under his waist as John Cena took back his United States Championship.

However, it's not entirely a horrible night for Rollins as his match against Sting was a great one. A bit slower-paced than his match against Cena, the Rollins and Sting match is still worth noting.

Wrestling Inc. reported that Sting was legitimately injured after taking a buckle bomb from Rollins. But fortunately, everything went on as Sting applied his famous finishing move, "Scorpion Death." With Rollins about to tap out, he eluded a loss by making a quick move and successfully retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

It was indeed a "Night of Champions" as many belts changed hands or rather, changed waists as the event concluded. One of them was Kevin Owens receiving his first taste of WWE gold when he beat Ryback for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ryback tried to fight back but, with Owen's rather questionable moves, he went on for the win.

The other exhibition matches were also interesting. As reported by WWE.com, The stable "The Wyatt Family" defeated the combined efforts of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho.

As Chris Jericho went for his signature move, "Walls of Jericho," Braun Strowman hit Jericho with his wiggle-choke finisher, making the returning Y2J pass out, giving The Wyatt Family the win.

WWE "Night of Champions" also featured the returning Dudley Boyz in a WWE Tag Team Championship match against The New Day. Although the favorite Dudley Boyz won, the New Day retained their belt. But expect the tag team belt exchange champions very soon.

All in all, the "Night of Champions" was indeed a success and make every wrestling fans anticipate for the next episode of WWE.
