"Dancing With The Stars" Season 22 is currently on its Week 2, and fan-favorite Bindi Irwin is having a blast. Last night, she graced the small screen with her rocker chick ensemble, tonight she's going to be a royalty in pink as she and partner Derek Hough grace the ABC show's dance floor yet again.
E! News got an exclusive sneak peek at Irwin's dress and it appears that the 17-year-old Aussie is formally ditching her cute and bubbly antics and her signature khakis for a more glamorous ensemble.
In the season premiere of "DWTS" Season 22, fans saw Bindi sporting her typical khaki ensemble, which was actually just a cover of her real outfit that night — a shimmering green dress as previously reported.
Then at the start of Week 2, the late Steve Irwin's daughter went for a more rocker style when she danced the Tango with Derek to the tune of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long."
Prior her dance, she once again mentioned her dad when she gushed about the song she and Hough would be dancing to. "That's what my mom and dad, especially, would listen to. I was so little and so happy," she said, as quoted by Today.
In an interview with People after the episode wrapped up, Bindi spoke of how the song meant to her even more. "At the very end it hit me, because of the meaning behind the song. It was so great because that they [had] so many memories attached [to it]," she said.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, Bindi shared a snap showing her and Derek during their dance routine. And she also spoke of how the music meant to her in the caption which read: "of #ACDC with you. It meant the world. I have a million memories with this music, spending time with my Dad, Mum and little brother. I can't wait for another amazing night - @derekhough has chosen the most moving song that will truly touch you. Love and light always."
As for Hough, he couldn't be more proud of his partner who has improved so much according to him. He shared a snap of #TeamCrikey on Instagram and captioned it "So proud of my BEAUTIFUL BINDI! Her improvement has been extraordinary in such a short amount of time. Who would have thought."
Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin are hitting the dance floor of "DWTS" Season 22 once again this evening, and they are set to dance a Waltz to Johnny Lang's "Only a Man."
