Robert Pattinson is thanking the industry for his physique. The "Twilight" actor recently revealed that if he were not part of the entertainment industry, he would have been a "fat a—." Meanwhile, his ex and "Twilight" leading lady Kristen Stewart has shed some light on how she's become a rebel.
The 29-year-old English actor may be the object of desire of many of his fans, but Pattinson has recognized his tendency to stay out of shape every now and then.
"I'm so glad about the vanity required in this job because if I didn't have to stay in shape, I'd be such a fat a—," he said, according to Daily Mail. The site added that the Edward Cullen actor admitted to going to remote places for his vacations so he wouldn't be photographed when he goes topless with his "gut" on full display.
Pattinson has also come clean about his weight struggle saying in an interview that he just submits to it because nothing is happening now when he tries to regain his healthy physique unlike before when he could just work out a couple of weeks before a job and feel good about the results.
"What the f— is going on? I had to go on holiday to an extravagant secret location this year because I was afraid of someone photographing my gut," he remarked.
Robert's admission comes after OK! magazine ran a story about his family's joy over the cancellation of his wedding plans with FKA Twigs. The publication even quoted an insider who claimed that "Rob's family are very polite to Twigs' face [but they're] horrified by her raunchy on-stage persona and her piercings and tattoos." The insider added, "They'd prefer to see him with some conservative posh British woman."
Both Pattinson and Twigs have yet to respond to OK!'s story as of press time.
Meanwhile, Pattinson's ex Kristen Stewart has also come clean about herself recently when she confirmed that she is a rebel. "I'm a rebel. I mean, I prefer doing things my way and revolutionise what I don't like instead," the 25-year-old American actress said.
She then explained, "I think it all started when I stopped listening to others and I decided to take a break from the big Hollywood productions to focus on films for which I earn less but that I believe will repay me later on instead. If not financially, at least personally," as quoted by NDTV Movie.
Then, Stewart also quipped that in order for one to find "true happiness," one should figure out what he or she wants in life.
